Testing & Reporting

Fault Finding

When it comes to testing and reporting, we have a number of services that we are able to supply to home and property owners throughout Bexhill and East Sussex.

Our electrical engineers are able to carry out professional Fault Finding for any home owner that may be unsure if their electrical installations are functioning as they should.

At DH Electrical Contractors we use the widely recognised method of Fault Finding known as the 5-Point Fault Finding Approach, which is comprised of information gathering, analysing the information, investigation, rectifying and finally testing the installation.

Testing & Inspecting

If you think you have a number of electrical devices in your home or property in Bexhill, East Sussex that need a full inspection then DH Electrical Contractors can give you the peace of mind you are looking for.

We have a team of fully trained and qualified PAT Testers, and by utilising the latest equipment we are able to thoroughly test all of your electrical devices.

It is extremely important to carry out regular testing and inspections on household and commercial devices to make sure they are safe to use and meet all of your health and safety legal requirements if you are in a commercial property.

E.I.C.R – Electrical Installation Condition Reports

At DH Electrical Contractors we also carry out Electrical Installation Condition Reports.

What is an Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR)? An EICR is a series of tests and inspections to make sure that your entire electric installation is working correctly and consistently conforms to the national safety standard.

DH Electrical Contractors can carry out an EICR on any property in the Bexhill and surrounding East Sussex area to ensure that its electrical infrastructure is in good working order.

An Electrical Inspection Condition Report is needed on properties periodically because every electrical installation will deteriorate over time.

It’s highly important for the home or property owner who is responsible for the maintenance of the installation to be sure there is no safety risk for any occupants or users of the electrical installation itself.

When one of our fully qualified electricians from DH Electrical Contractors visits your property they will carry out the test at your convenience. Once the testing of the electrical installation is complete, an NICEIC certificate will be issued to both property owner and insurer.
