Melted fuse/cable

Emergency call out for an electric shower fault today revealed this level of damage. The circuit/cable had over heated to a point where the rewritable fuse had exploded. 

Luckily this customer was very vigilant and isolated the power immediately. This damage resulted from the electric shower being to powerful for the circuit/cable being used. Always use a competent / qualified electrician for your own safety.
